Course Tips: Helpful Information for PDIS eLearning Courses
The PDIS offers a full catalog of PDIS eLearning courses available whenever you need them, but we know that learning online can have its challenges. These tips may make your experience with PDIS courses even better.
PDIS Course Tips
If you see a terms you don’t know: Many PDIS courses have a glossary built right in. You can find it in the upper-left corner of the course content. You can access it at any time without interrupting your course progress. Even better, words that are in the glossary will display in dark orange the first time they are shown on a slide, so you know that more information is available.
If you want to review course content: Use the course menu to revisit slides you’ve already completed. You’ll also find this in the upper-left corner of the course content.
If you prefer to read instead of listen: You can read the course narration to the left of the course slides. You may also reduce or mute the volume beneath the slides. Also, the Resources and Text Version tab in the upper-right will take you to a text version of the full course, which you can read, save, or print to use during the course or later on.
